For the last 13 years I have been proud to coach the Lakewood Boy's Volleyball program.  As of today I have stepped down from that position to work on my credential/master's program and coach girl's club volleyball.  Thank you to all of the parents who were helpful throughout the years and it has been a fun ride.

A couple of things are going to change.  The website will still be Lakewood Volleyball but it will now become the Lakewood Girl's Volleyball Website.  Also, the Lakewood Volleyball Booster Club will become the Lakewood Girl's Volleyball Booster Club.  With a new coach coming in they would be responsible for making any decisions concerning Booster clubs and websites etc.

Wednesday - Picture Day (envelopes were handed out 3 weeks ago, if you don't have one I have a couple left over or you can pick one up that day.)

Due to Yom Kippur Capistrano Valley had to move their league game to the Nov. 1st date that we had rescheduled.  Here is the information:

Monday October 27th
FS and JV at 5:00 p.m.
Varsity at 6:00 p.m.

Boys Volleyball and the girls that did not sell cookie dough will be hosting a Car Wash on Nov. 8th from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Lakewood High School next to the Main Gym Kitchenette.  It is MANDATORY that all boys in the class must attend.  They all have been given 10 tickets to sell at $5.00 apiece.  Please support our Car Wash.

Just a reminder that today is the day for the cookie dough drop off.  Your child is responsible to make arrangements for taking them home and delivering their orders.  It will be here around 1:00 p.m. so be ready...

Because of it being Back to School Week and Wilson working with one gym the schedule for tomorrow's games are as followed:
FS - 1:30
JV - 3:00
Varsity - 4:00

Reminder that each game follows the previous one by twenty minutes so this is not 100% accurate with the times.  Please arrive early if you don't want to miss your child playing.

Our team pictures will be taken at Lakewood in the main gym at 2:00 on Wednesday October 29th.  When I get the envelopes I will pass them out.

The cookies will be in October 15th around 6th period so your child will be taking them home then.  It is up to the parents and the players to make arrangements for this day because we cannot keep any here at school.

The Adopt-A-Lancer tshirts should be in this week, they were on backorder and are being printed and I was told they were going to be in sometime this week.
