This Week in Volleyball...
This week we travel to Millikan on Tuesday and Wilson on Thursday. Frosh/Soph
and Junior Varsity will start at 3:00 and Varsity will follow at 4:00. We need everyones support so please go on out
and cheer those Lancers on.
Friday the Frosh/Soph team is traveling to Ocean View High School for a non-league
contest. The match is at 3:30.

Well...
We did it......We won the Orange County Championships with a 13-25, 25-21,
15-11 defeat of Dana Hills. This is the first time in our program history that we have achieved this accomplishment.
Two years ago we did reach the final only to lose to Tesoro but that has changed. Great job goes out to all of the 13
Varsity players who have worked their tails off to get better.

This Week in Volleyball...
Varsity had a great weekend advancing to Monday nights Finals of the Orange County
Championships. They will face Dana Hills in the Finals at Edison at 5:30. Hope to get everyone out there for all
of the support. Tuesday's game against Downey has been changed due to CAHSEE TESTING on Tuesday. It is now at Lakewood
on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. All of the times and locations are the same just a different date.

College verbal committment
  Congratulations to Jessica Thomas for her verbal committment to the University of Oklahoma. Oklahoma was ranked #12
in the country last season and will have many players returning next season. Great job Jess!!!

Last Weekend
Frosh/Soph did an awesome job at the St. John Bosco Tournament placing tied for
3rd overall. They lost in the Semi-Finals on Saturday to a good Servite team. Great Job FS..... Varsity placed 5th this last
weekend at the Redondo Invitational out of 32 teams. Devon Taylor garnered All-Tournament honors. Great start
to the season Varsity! Varsity parents please check out the page to the left about the San Diego Tournament this weekend. Let me know
